An emerging trend in pet snacking is gourmet pet snacks.
You heard me right.
What do gourmet pet snacks entail? I noticed that there are upscale, and even famous bakeries that are now baking pastries for our beloved pets.
One such bakery is the well-known and famous Bouchon Bakery in New York City. Another is the Buzz Bakery in Virginia. Both feature gourmet treats for dogs.
This trend is even picked up by major retailer Target! According to its TV ads and website, the retailer is in the process of setting up Shops at Target. This is a project that involves five shops that the retailer loves and, therefore collected and curated a selection for its customers.
One of those shops is a gourmet bakery. At first glance, there is nothing surprising or special. However, this bakery is very unique in the fact that it specializes in and only makes, pet treats!
Just out of curiosity, I also googled gourmet dog treat bakeries in New York City, and there are, no surprise, many listed.
